I am the owner of Mr. Goofy's Car Wash in Belleville, Saline and Ypsilanti. And Ken had done some rehabilitation work for me at all of those locations. And I have some other commercial buildings that from time to time needed work and he’s done them for me.
I’ve had a building on Wahstenaw Avenue , on the corner of Mansfield and Washtenaw in Ypsilanti and he did a complete rebuild of that existing parking lot. He has the equipment that enables him to pickup the old asphalt and not just cover the existing problems, but redo and regenerate the asphalt so you get a better job out of it. So he did that for me and he’s done a commercial office building on Packard Rd. where I had my real estate office. He’s done that a couple of times and sealed and stripped and repaired and another office building in Ypsilanti. And just recently rehabilitated that building. He’s done a lot of work for me and I think he’s a stand up guy and I think he’s the kind of guy I could recommend without any hesitation. In fact I have talked to potential clients to at least let them know that I was pleased with the quality of his work.
I was very satisfied with the work and he was really concerned that we had a quality project and that it came out to his high expectations and standards. A couple of times I wanted to move forward faster and with the weather being an issue we had to, well he wanted to make sure it was done well. He informed me we needed to slow down a little bit and do it right.
I was talking in terms of my commercial building. The asphalt is black and the sealer is black and its very difficult to tell some folks of the grade or quality of the sealer and with the integrity that Kent has displayed, I always had the confidence to know that what he was putting down was going to last a long time. So, again, I’m very, very pleased with Ken’s work.
