I had an asphalt driveway that with the location of the home, which sits on the side of a hill, the asphalt kept cracking extensively year by year. We thought it was time to put a concrete driveway in.
Sommerset had done several commercial jobs for me in the past ten years or so and I gave them the opportunity to give a bid. It was quite an extensive driveway, about 180ft long with an expanded landing area for a parking area and they did it very well.
I was satisfied, because he went to great efforts to see that the job was done well. Even as a neophyte construction person, I wanted to have things go down smoothly and well. He slowed me down in a couple instances, because of the weather because he wanted to make sure that the finished product was everything he expected it to be and I appreciated that.
Ken, who I’ve worked with as I say previously, is very responsive when you call him for an answer or a question you might have. He gets right back to you on the phone, which I’ve found in other endeavors and projects that once you start a project you could hardly ever reach anyone to answer any questions. Ken was most responsive at all times for us. And kept us informed of what was going on and what was the time frame.
